Every sim runs its own Black Box, with its own rules, theme and website, and switches on the parts it needs. Here's what each one uses and what it has built so far.
A fantasy world on Black Box's own d20 rules, with a HUD theme for each of its factions.
RulesClassic fantasy: a d20 against Defense, with turns taken team by team.
Medieval roleplay on 3d6 rules with magic, runes, songs and professions, and the deepest crafting Black Box runs.
RulesMedieval: 3d6 against Defense, with armor, weapon traits and a class tree.
Prison roleplay, with characters approved by staff, ID numbers over every head, and doors and alarms run by the game.
RulesA d20 plus Accuracy, for prison fights and bug hunts.
The facility's power flows through the sim. A large generator and the main power panel feed five breakers, and the breakers feed the doors and lights wired to them. Trip a breaker or let the generator's fuel run low and everything after it drops to low power or goes dark: lights dim and flicker, and doors can lock or open, depending on how each kind of door is set. Staff watch and rewire the grid on a live map on the website.
Cell and facility doors check who's touching them against access lists, and can be locked, welded or forced through roleplay. A failed fake-badge swipe locks the door down and sets off every alarm in its zone, and staff can trigger, silence and preset the alarms for a scene.

Rules5e-style: a d20 against Armor Class, saving throws, advantage and bonus actions.
Its own system: d20 rolls and saving throws with a tree of jobs to switch between, in the style of Final Fantasy Tactics, on a sim with a fantasy side and a sci-fi side.
Rulesd20 against Armor Class, with saving throws, one action a turn and front and back rows.
