After a fight
How a fight ends, looting, being downed, treating wounds, and rolling dice outside a fight.
For playersA fight ends when only one side has anyone left standing. What follows, such as loot and wounds, depends on the rules your sim uses.
How a fight ends
Anyone on 0 HP is downed: their turns are skipped and they can’t flee. A side is out when everyone on it is downed or gone. Drones don’t count.
The fight ends the moment the last foe goes down, even partway through a turn. Chat names the winning team. Any Energy set aside for the fight comes back, and NPCs go back to full health.
A fight also ends for you when you leave, are kicked or flee, and your wound is worked out then.
If your sim protects the opening rounds, a hit that would down someone in the Surprise Round or Round 1 leaves them on 1 HP instead.
Loot
If your sim uses looting, each player on the winning side may loot each downed foe once. Chat says who can be looted and for how long.
- Open Fight. A Loot button with a count, such as Loot (2), stays there until your time runs out.
- Press it, then press Loot next to a name. In chat:
@loot <name>. - A d100 roll decides what you may take: nothing, an item up to a weight, any item, or a share of their coins. Pick one from the list on your HUD, and it moves to your inventory unequipped.
Items a foe discarded during the fight can’t be looted.
Wounds
When a fight ends for you, your sim may give you a wound picked from how low your HP went. A wound can lower your max HP and your skills until it goes, and an untreated one may heal or worsen on its own. Nobody is wounded in a sparring match. Wounds and getting patched up covers tiers, timers and the edge cases.
Treat and stabilize
Out of a fight, open the Status page with the Effects counter on the home screen. If your sim uses wound tiers, Treat… there, and Stabilize… if your sim uses it, let you patch up wounded people within 20 metres. The results come back in chat. In chat: @wound, @wound treat <name> <tier> and @wound stabilize <name>. See Wounds and getting patched up for each kind of treatment.
Dice outside fights
For checks outside a fight, press Dice on the home screen.
- Set Dice (how many, up to 100) and Times (how many sets, up to 10) with - and +.
- Stat starts on NONE. Choose a stat to add it once to the total.
- Tap a die, from 1d4 to 1d100, to roll. The buttons follow the Dice count, so with 3 dice they read 3d6 and so on.
If your sim has named checks, such as a skill or a save, choose one under Check and press Roll check. Each roll shows on the page and in local chat, with an ID number.
